An interesting piece. I am not a doctor ( nor play one on TV ) so much of the specific medical language she uses is gobbledegook to me.

But I get the basic thrust of her argument, and I think it bears merit. I have a friend who suffered traumatic injuries in a car crash 10 years ago, and the return to a functioning worthwhile life didn't really gain traction until she got off gluten and reduced overall inflammation in her body. Today, with her dietary changes and the enzyme serrepeptase, she is back at 85-90% or so.

"Restoring optimal gut flora requires a variety of interventions, but beginning with a grain- and dairy-free diet, eliminating sugar, and genetically modified foods is a good place to start."

Possibly just a little extreme for an ongoing diet.

I guess no one wanted to tackle the humor in this...
