Amazing. I still take a double-take when I see a 787 on short final. The aircraft is light, but still the wing tips are bent up over the top of the fuselage. The future, with the heavy use of composites is going to be so cool.

You wouldn't prefer an AN-70?

Im a red blooded ( progressive) American. The only airplane I want to fly before I die is a bear. The bear is the coolest plane ever! Sorry.

Nice formation work. I do some of that, and I know it's not easy when you don't get much chance to practice.

Sorry John, second in line is pointing a tad to port... and third in line has his rotor out of sync

and third in line has his rotor out of syncAnd when you're in that tight, it's the little things that are important. ;)

A question for the pilots: When the plane turns onto the runway, is it steered by just the nose wheel,or nose wheel and brakes?

The first thing that strikes me is the level of training that must go into this display. To me, it represents the epitome of co-ordinated teamwork, each team member undertaking his or her task flawlessly. mind bogglingly beautiful......I dips me lid.
