I just checked McMaster Carr and they have stock in 954 alloy up to 3" thick and 12" widths. Any machine shop could probably size it for you. www.mcmaster.com (http://www.mcmaster.com)

Check Atlas Metals. They have an advertizement in the last Issue of Wooden Boat Magazine. I think, when possible, we should give our businesss to the people who make the forum possible.

Atlas Metal Sales, 800-662-0143 or (303) 623-0143
I don't see anything that size in the sheets they sent me which doesn't mean they wont have it. But, hey, you can get ingots and cast your own.

Hey, I 'preciate y'all's help. Called Atlas and they couldn't help but gave me a couple more outfits. They didn't have anything that thick. Looked up McMaster. Man, that stuff is 'spensive. Sure would look nice but I think I'll stick with painted steel.
