One might suppose that somewhere in that 3.5 bn folks there would be some, smart and motivated enough to get all RobinHood on those 85.

Don't fret. It will trickle down.

History would appear to indicate the contrary.

Piddle down.

I'd do a roll eyes smiley to indicate sarcasm (I would have had to employ it twice) but the suitably graphic one doesn't exist, so I'll be blunt. I'm not a trickle down guy except when it comes to plugged toilets.

Piddle down.

Even that would be an improvement.

I figured; I was going for dry, but... well, you know.

I missed it too! You are hereby granted the use of one free roll eye smiley at the time and place of your choosing!

Are the people with the money good or bad people? .

what is the bar for going all Robin Hood on someone?.

The theory of the Stimulus was it WOULD trickle down. funny that's how they sold it, right?

Are the people with the money good or bad people? Is that the point? Does it matter? A better question is: why do they have more money than 3.5 billion people? Taking all their money and distributing it evenly among those 3.5 would only be $485/person, though.

This tends to distort comparisons of "wealth". Money is a contrived concept, much like language.

I think the Bible offers advice on that , something about the eye of a needle and a camel.

It's not so much how much money they've got as what they do with it. You can buy a whole lot of politicians, police, lawyers etc. with a few % of that.

Money, like blood, must circulate. It isn't. That's the problem.

NO: the theory of the tax cuts for the wealthy is that it would trickle down.
