Hi I like your web page this great stuff. I've been trying to sell my cruising rowboat on the internet and I've not had any responses. I'd like some advice from anyone who can give me some ideas on where to advertise. You can view my add if you wish at www.viewit.com/rowboat (http://www.viewit.com/rowboat)

Tried E-Bay? I think I'm the only person in the free world who doesn't frequent it... (Woodenboat's classifieds would be a good place to start too!)

I would try the WoodenBoat classifieds but whatever you do, be prepared to wait a while -- the market for long distance rowboats is rather small...

Messing About in Boats' classifieds might be another option: http://mims.com/maib/

I should think E-bay would be a last resort to be taken up only when you so urgently need to sell the boat that you will take whatever you can get.

Beautiful boat by the way.

There's a group in Newport, RI called Open Water Rowing. They may have a way of putting your boat in front of eyes that might be interested.

She's a bit on the radical side for the large buyer population you might wish for. Perhaps that group that matches old singles, wherries, eights, etc, could find a buyer for you. Sorry, I forget the name.
Maybe you're asking too much. Price, as opposed to value, is in the eye of the buyer, i.e., it's worth what someone will pay for it.
