I have tried everything...

for some reason the post editor, adds spaces in the url at imagestation. I have verified that the url is correct, it takes you to the picture.

I am following the instructions and just replacing the url in the pop up when I use the Image button.

What is the correction for this?

Imagestation frequently will not allow for linking.

Hmmm....the forum seems to be adding spaces in my posts, too.

Try momentoffame as a URL. It's good & free.

I tried to post a link this morning to even a web page, numerous times, and it added a big hole in the address, rendering it useless. I quit. Maybe a solar gitch or something. Get back to work, Shallowwater. ;)

Going back to work now...

Thanks,

I don't know what the real fix is, it sound like the cut & paste process is having a problem.

However, once you paste in the URL - just arrow back through it an manually remove the spaces. It will then render fine...

(I tried it, so it isn't loosing characters - just spreading them out a bit.)

Oyster, I haven't even made it in to the office yet. :D

Something strange is going on with the forum this morning. A URL that looks fine in the message window gets spaces added to it when you try to actually submit the post...

This time we can't blame ImageStation. The Forum's server is putting in spaces for some reason. Doesn't seem to matter if you type the URL by hand, cut and paste, or use the "Image" Button. Scot'll have to fix it I think.

Nice boat by the way, Cap'n Pete. If we cut and paste your URL and delete the spaces we can see you boat.

Doesn't even work when you type in the HTML code manually...

Same thing happens if you use the " " command. Looks fine in the edit window, but not in the preview, or actual post.

Yeah, that explains my repeated failure to successfully post a photo of Gary Bergman's figurehead on Royaliste.

You need to remove all the spaces from
the URL address.

Carl.

Ahhhh... Seems to be working again.

"...You need to remove all the spaces from

That's what was so wierd, Carl. We WERE removing the spaces "manually". The computer gremlins kept putting 'em back in!
