(fer gosh sakes, let us avoid discussing human nature)

Maybe Phillip has a point. Like if killing can be done with something other than a firearm, there should be no regulation of firearms at all. Or maybe he has some other point to obscure to divine.

True, guns are just an easier, surer, more efficient tool for killing folks. To follow this to it's logical conclusion, maybe we should we all be allowed to own nuclear weapons?

I would use "small tactical type nukes." I think just saying "nukes" is a slippery slope...

Dumb thread.
These three took some time and considerable effort to beat their disabled relative to death. This crime was a family affair, up close and protracted.
A mugger may thump a victim, who is likely to survive unless unlucky enough to fall and bang their head off of a curb or similar. Up close quick and away.
A mugger may knife a victim. For that they would have to get up close, but the killing will be quick.
A gunman does not even have to get up close.

So what is this thread really about?

Yeah, if they had a gun the man wouldn't have suffered so long.

OH OH OH ... Phillip has posted another gun thread. Here's my chance to pile on and show everyone how witty and clever I am...give it a rest boys. The baiting has worn thin and you're not that clever.

There's no baiting. Phillip lays the only baits, then fuels them a bit....

I like the vedio... fake muzzle loaders with scopes and fake black powder with the wrong sort of bullets... it's not like they haven't been warned over and over
