Looks to be called 'Gillcrest'... Does anybody have anything further they could add - whereabouts/photos/history etc.

There is no article and not much of any other info in the issue of the magazine other than the photo credit on the contents page:

"Cover: Our educated guess is that Gillcrist is a small Alaskan tug converted to pleasure use. We lost track of the photographer, Stephen Hilson."

Gillcrest is indeed a converted tug, last seen south of the border (Washington State). She is 52' by 15' by 7', with a 380HP Allison-Chalmers with 4.5:1 reduction. She was built in Vancouver by Arthur Moscrop in the early 1900's
