I was reading some of Molly Ivins' old columns and came across an oddly chilling statement.
She quotes a study she'd read in which women were asked about their greatest fears about men, and men their greatest fears about women.

The women said their greatest fears were being beaten and raped by a man.

The men's greatest fear was being laughed at by a woman.

Because it is emasculating.

I had a friend who said he didn't believe in mixed marriages, and he meant men and women!

If a man can't stand ridicule, he 'd best not take up with women!

They just made a iPhone 5 cover that is also a tazer. I seen it on Cnet. It's called a Yellow Jacket stun gun.
That's a great idea, but illegal in NY.
I would love for my daughters to own one. :(
OTOH, I would have thought guys would be more mad at being proven by a woman, that SHE was right.

I get laughed at very regularly. Better that than the other thing!

"If a man makes a statement and there's no woman around is he still wrong?"

When talking politics with some of our friends I often see the husband glance about before he makes his opinions known, his politics and his wifes/partners' are different but she doesn't know, or doesn't want her friends to know.
