Keith, your special Ulu knife was especially selected for the beauty of the grain in the wood, and the particular animal etched on the handle. I hope it will be pleasing to your eyes and fitting in the hands of the cook. Got it in the mail yesterday. Should be there in few days. Let me know when it arrives.

You did a great job as the BROTM. Well worth the honor of becoming the first Rat of The Year.

I think we should have some guidelines for what makes a worthy candidate for BROTMOTY. In the future a Rat will NOT be nominated to run for the "award winning" BROTMOTY, just because s/he held the tittle for one month. S/he has to have contributed to making it fun for all. We have some good examples from the last year.

Well, thank you very much indeed! I'll post photos of your generous gift in use (splitting wood, chipping ice, taking shingles off the roof, shaving . . . :D ). Great stamps, BTW; I'm particularly fond of that grumpy old guy in 'Up'. I'm working on an acceptance speech.

How'd you get pics of the postmarked stamps before you sent the package?

I had the stamps carefully hand cancelled in case Keith collects stamps. Then I took the picture.

Said by someone that thinks of everything.
Very nice Spinner!

Thanks Allan. :) I really like stamps. They are much nicer than the strip used nowadays. Kind of a PITA for the postal clerk when there was no other clerk, and a line of customers. But since I pay for the postage, I wanted real stamps to make the box nicer to receive.

Should be there any day now.
