I have sailed on three or perhaps four of the boats built by David Stevens.

I agree completely. A Canadian friend gave me that book several years ago, it was excellent. I sent it to Clancy after he posted his "I dreamed I was a schooner thread." He sent me a nice thank you that he also thoroughly enjoyed it and that it distracted him from his pain and hospital stay.
