Before Doc Freeman's in Seattle went out of business, I bought a bunch of #16 x 4" stainless steel wood screws. I need about a dozen more to finish what I'm working on, and I can't find a source in Seattle (or online).

Anyone know where I can get some?

Try Tacoma Screw
http://www.tacomascrew.com/locations.htm

Fisheries Supply might have them (they aren't listed on their web site, but you never know. They could certainly order a box.
http://www.fisheriessupply.com/

And Ballard Hardware is another possibility.

You know who just might have some...try Stone Way Hardware (Stone Way, just south of 46th in Wallingford)

Stone Way Hardware bought a lot of Doc Freeman's fastener stock. They've got a pretty good selection of stuff.

Stone Way Hardware
4318 Stone Way N.
Seattle, WA 98103
Phone: 206-545-6910

Another possibility is Home Builders' Center (Ace Hardware)

Home Builders' Center
1110 W Nickerson
Seattle, WA 98119 - 1323
(206) 283-6060

They're on Nickerson hard by the Ballard Bridge. They're quite convenient to the ship- and boatyards along the ship canal, so they carry more stuff than you'd expect. They've actually got a pretty decent selection of boat lumber (need a piece of marine ply, teak, mahogany or alaskan yellow cedar on Sunday afternoon? They've got it for you). Pretty decent prices, too.

Stoneway Hardware - Nope
Home Builders - Nope
Triangle - Nope
McMaster Carr - Nope

Standard Fastener - I beleive they only sell by the box, I need 10...

Anyway, I ordered up some 4 inch long SS timber screws from McMaster Carr. I can change my design enough that I can use those.

McMaster Carr - NopeDang. You're stumping me.

Pity Seattle Ship Supply is out of business. They probably would have had it.

Didja try Hardwick's (on Roosevelt in the U-district)?
