The tallships will be visiting Victoria (June 23-26th) and Port Alberni (July 13-15). Anyone interested in expense sharing on a Defever 50 Offshore trawler (wood, of course)? This is a great opportunity to experience the tallships - onshore & on the water!
Save yourself the cost of hotels...the only costs will be the running of the boat & food.
The boat will depart Gabriola Island on June 21 to arrive in Victoria for the start of the festival and will travel to Barkley Sound in time for the tallships procession up the Alberni Canal. Also planned - to be on station off Cape Beale for the start of the race to California.
