I havn't found it at the newstand yet. If you buy from the WB store the shipping is almost the same as the mag. ($2.95 for first class mail, delivered in the US)

It was in Hannaford here in Wells.

Loved the deadrise skiff! It would be perfect for fishing St. Augustine's protected water. My cousin insists on using his 13' flat bottomed skiff and he gets to sit aft by the motor while I get pounded to death in the bow. :ycool:

Lots of great stuff this year. Mr Andrew K is now world-wide famous (WOOTWOOT), and that Finnish expedition rowboat was NEAT-O. I bought Point Comfort 18 plans a while back, and I am stoked it was included. This is a strong vintage.

Oh, and back to the classic cover scheme with a real picture, as opposed to composite. Thumbs up.

Is it Andrew's Oughtred Yawl? Or his Cobble design?

No shipping costs if you buy the digital download. It's now available as a .pdf file from the WB Store.

There's a gentleman in it with the same name and same boats as me? I really need to go buy this! Not that I wouldn't buy it anyway - I've always enjoyed the small boats and look forward to reading this one.

-Andrew "westcoast" K, with a I.O. yawl and a coble sitting in his driveway.

Andrew threw together a Cape Cod Oyster Skiff over the winter out of leftover wood scraps laying around his workshop. Something of a stopgap before The Big Project. Always making a scene that one. See what happens when you miss out, yo?

Got one at the local news stand, got it bagged, kept my eyes off it all the way home and handed it to my wife to give me for Christmas. It will be a treat.

I promised myself that if I complete the Holiday Rowing Challenge http://www.prlog.org/11907825-concept-2-rower-holiday-challenge.html I'll find a shop to rent and build a flat bottom skiff this winter. I'm thinking Walt Simmons Harbor Skiff with the full size lofting and plank patterns would suit what we need and go together pretty swiftly: http://www.duck-trap.com/hs-cd.html

I thumbed through it before I bought it and was taken by the Ipswich Bay Skiff. I was disappointed however, to find there are not plans available for the home builder. |:(
