We were overjoyed to see the We're Here restored and towing Tola in the latest issue of Wooden Boat. We were owners of the We're Here from l976 to l984. We had not heard anything about it for a long time and thought perhaps it was gone. It was exciting to see the foward hatch cover that my husband made still on it. We would love to get in touch with the present owners to talk about the boat.

A pretty boat, and a good name, too.

Try Gannon and Benjamin in Vinyard Haven. They did the work repairing her after she went on the rocks. They'll probably be able to connect you to the current owners. Actually, the WoodenBoat Registry may have that information as well.

The Left Coast We're Here is a Ben Seaborn design, NJ Blanchard built 42 ft. sloop; TOLA is a sister ship.

It is now named Arroyo, and is owned by Roger and Nancy Newell of Seattle. Roger is an Architect in Seattle and listed in the phone book, if you would like to contact him. I'm sure he would enjoy hearing from a previous owner.

Sometimes WoodenBoat doesn't arrive on the doorstop in time, LOL.
