Nice guy! (According to Carter) ;)
In truth I enjoyed our meet greatly. The man can eat steak and salad and drink beer and coffee without so much as a burp. Good stories and laughs and all that! Good luck on that skippering job Garreth, and remember that we don't know where the key to the front door is! :D

I've been doing a fair amount of sailing lately. I'm home for a while, fly to Bermuda on Tuesday to bring the boat back after her successful (I hope) Marion bermuda race. Then it's back to sleeping in my own bed again.

Doug and Carter rescued a folorn forumite who was reduced to eating at bars. Geat cooking, wonderful hosts and a memorable time. They have a great house and an enviable collection of toys (boat/jeep/tractor).

Driving back to the boat with one headlight and a full belly and on the safe side of tipsy, reminded me of my youth, oh so long ago.

Thanks very much MRleft8 and Carter.
