A 2 year old extensive bathroom reno? Pffft! Rookie.

Let he who is without an 'ongoing' remodel project cast the first stone!

Same reason he hasn't announced his score in the 'Toilet Geography Quiz'.

How about painting the exterior of my house... started in 2011. Of course - since then - I've pretty much been in permanent 'recovery' mode. First, throat cancer. The, recently, gall bladder surgery. I bet it gets done next summer, though.

The quote was taken out of context.

This whole thing is motivated by politics.

The check is in the mail.

Ha! I'm FINALLY done with mine! Fifteen years to build the main house, two years to finish the extension (twin garage with master suite over).
I can't believe there's nothing left to do. That is, of course, until my wife thinks up a new project...http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5333/10063003183_e87a413608_z.jpg

That's nothing. No BS about this, but I work with a guy who has been renovating his condo bathroom for the last 4-1/2 years! He's down to drywall, the installation of a pocket door, and plumbing the shower. 4-1/2 years! He's been using the shower in the condo's pool room since the day he started the job.

Myself and the companies one other employee have both offered to help him finish it off but there is sits... we even offered to bring beer and buy pizza.

I have a friend who's been remodeling his house so that the kids would have nice rooms of their own. All three of the kids are in college now, and he's almost done. :D

Nice house!

It's the fulfillment of a dream started in the early 90's. Escape the rat-race of the New York City area and retire to a log cabin in Vermont. My wife and I designed it and I built it a few logs at a time over many years.

This is awesome! The nite-lite matches the... uh... wallpapery stripy thingy.

And a checklist by the toothbrush holder. That's more than "Put the damned seat down!" That's a manifesto.

Why do ya have all them rocks sitting on the porch?

Helps keep the house from floating off in to space.... It's called a "Gravity assist house location retention system".

Them there rocks is the chimney. I would have put a stone chimney around the stovepipe on the roof, but I couldn't get my wife to go up there and do it!
