Hey All,

I am proposing a very limited in size elbow bending session. Every summer I do Wednesday night bbq and Lake Union cruises. Well, this summer isn't looking good for getting out. I'm way behind schedule, and the boat isn't up and running.

Having my boat ripped to pieces isn't considered a good thing amoung my friends, but for this forum, it is a good thing. So, for about 8 or so of you, I am proposing a bring your own bbq on the Pacific Glider.

Like I said, it will be on a Wednesday. How about either July 21st or 28th?

Sounds good, Annie and I are kidless that time of year so it's easier to do those sort of things. We'll be in touch.

I'm not on the list much these days but it sounds like a good time. I'll probably have to come solo as Betsy works Wed. eves.

OK, let's make it the 28th of July. That gives me one month to get her running. The plan will be to meet on the boat at 6:30 pm. If she's up and running, we'll do a loop around Lake Union, and BBQ back at the dock.

The marina is at 2900 Westlake Ave N. You can't miss the Pacific Glider. She's the only troller there.

I'll provide soft drinks, condiments, plates, glasses, etc. You bring something to burn on the grill, and any non-soft drinks of your choice.

Sounds great! Add me to the list please - I think I can get up there by 6:30; it's a ways to go but probably well worth it!

Funny, I was wondering about Ed too. I didn't see a mention of Opal at the festival. I just don't feel it will be quite the same show without them. :(

As I said before, 8 chairs. Rails are my next project. It's a bit tight on the upper deck. A few can sit lower down near the stern.

There is a salmon opening today. I'm sure there would be no problem fishing for salmon in an area closed to fishing. None of the boats passing by on there way to the legal area would even think of reporting you ;)
