Nice pics Gert. I'll see if I can get any of the ones I shot on a site. The festival is the weekend after Labor Day every year (this was the 25th annual). If you want to do the full tour, the weekend before (Labor Day) is the Victoria Classic Boat Fest, and the Vancouver WBF is the weekend before that. In three weeks you could do a good survey of the finest boats in the Northwest and do some great cruising in between. I keep hoping to make the circuit one of these years.

Amazing! Fabulous! Why SWMBO & I keep missing the festival year after year, I'll never know.

The "rebuild" of that Rangley Lakes boat, Erin, was written up in the September Shavings from the Center for Wooden Boats. Which I finally got yesterday http://media5.hypernet.com/~dick/ubb/rolleyes.gif She was done by a guy who seems not to have had any previous experience building/restoring boats. Perhaps that's worth remembering when we tell a newbie to go slow.

Anybody see that sweet little daysailor on the hard, built by the Scandanavian(?) company with the unpronouncable name? Lovely boat, but did you catch the sticker price?!?
