Well today was the day for the sunset sail on Fritha. I bought a sunset sail for 6 at a fundraiser auction for my kid's school last winter. Here is a web page with some info on the boat: Fritha's web page (http://www.lhyb.com/sail/fritha/)

I got the call yesterday morning, Phil Fuller, Fritha's owner and captain called and said how about tomorrow?, the weather looks perfect. So I agreed, hoping I could find someone to go with Mary and me. Fortunately I know where some wooden boat types hang out. Right here! So Chris Coose was able to rearrange his schedule, and Hugh Lane (Hughman) and his wife Ginger were able to drive down from Rockport, and my brother was on vacation this week so we had our 6 people. Shane was supposed to come but it was a little short notice. :D

Here she is:

Great to see thanks.
I was only talking about Fritha yesterday .We were discussing one of her builders. A boatbuilder who died much too young. What a character.

Usual suspects with Capt. Phil Fuller

and just a little side note to Hugh. This would be the setting that I think you and your daughter should take me and Ella up on before they don't want to go with us anymore.

Hugh took that figurehead shot while we were underway. Here he is taking that pic:

When complemented on how well maintained the boat was Captain Fuller gave much credit to her original owner, she was in great shape when he got her. And mate Keith must spend lots of time varnishing.
