Hi - Is anyone interested in some old issues of Wooden Boat? My husband, who died in April, loved the magazine. I came across a stack of issues, and was going to throw them out, but wondered if perhaps someone else could use them. There is an issue from 2000 and one from 2001 and several issues through 2012, but only 2007 & 2010 are complete. Anyone willing to pay the shipping costs is welcome to them. Thanks.

I am sure you will find some takers, if not here, on your local craigslist. Where are you located? That info will narrow the folks headed to pick them up! If you are close to me, I'll come get them. Dave in Northern VA.

Can't help with the magazines, but can offer you condolences on your loss. If your husband liked wooden boats, he must have been a great guy!

Sue, I am in Manassas, Northern VA, but have a daughter in Richmond/Petersburg, and a son in Blacksburg, so one of us has to be close enough to you. where are you located, would love to take the back issues off your hands. And I too am sorry for your loss. I hope my wife will find appropriate homes for my stuff when I am gone too.

Hi Dave
As it turns out, DGenrty came to see about taking the partially built Sneakeasy in my driveway, but had no way to transport it easily. He did take the magazines. Thanks for your interest. You want a partially built boat? :)

If you were in Vermont we would be having a serious conversation!
It needs to go to a good home and I am sure someone will be thrilled to have it... Dave???

If you are serious about wanting the boat, I am heading up in November for my annual duck hunting week. Will be in Essex Jct and in Pittsford, and all along Lake Champlain. I can tow it. Do you know the details of the boat? What sized trailer it would take to haul here, I might be able to scrounge one up.
Dave

PS DGentry, if you end up with any duplicate issues, keep me in-mind.

If it is a Bolger Sneakeasy it will be 26 feet long and not sure it is complete enough to be trailered, interesting thought though
