Even checked an actual dictionary made from dead trees.......most words prefixed with semi are not hyphenated but one word in particular usually is, and that may have influenced me just a little.


Anyway, I agree with Glen. Semi-literate should be as easy to read as possible just like dyslexic should be easier to spell.
