A great old village on Eastern Long Island is having it's two day Maritime Fest this weekend. All you local forumites may want to take in the sites, if so, stop by my 1938 sailboat ZEPHYR, and say hello.

Thomas...I made the mistake of going a few years ago...took me 4 hours to drive from Amityville. I could almost make it faster by boat...and certainly alot more peacefully.

after the fact, i just saw this post, but the best part of the Greenport Maritime Festival is the Greenport Classic Yacht Regatta-run this year better than ever and a beautiful fleet ranging from 3 NY 30's and other big beautiful herreshoffs and others to Buzzard's Bay 25's, Augie Neilsen sloops etc -good stuff and BE SURE TO BE THERE NEXT YEAR!!!
