has anybody thought to put together a fat boy crew??? :D

i mean you really only need three or four really athletic guys to run a boat like this, everybody else is just there for railmeat. . .

Not one of them seems to be wearing a PFD.

yeah, except that when the helmsman twitches, the tail of the boat moves 3-4 FEET to the side....

Ever been on the tail end of a lobsterboat with a heavy-handed helmsman? Two hands for the boat, there.

and holeeee schnikies did you see that thing accelerate when the guy heated it up about 0:22 into the video?
Well, they'd love me for crew, except that I've vowed to never again sail anything with a black deck.

Edit: It doesn't exactly "dance" to weather though does it?

Why wasn't someone water skiing behind that boat?

It lacks the big rollbar thing with the huge speakers.

Odd musical choice, maybe an inside joke?

And they should be. If they go overboard from that machine they will hit the water very hard. I doubt that sled would be very quick at turning and making a pick up.

That looks a whole lot more exciting than the America's Cup these days.

Heck of a ride! It does look like a giant Cherub Paul with all the water shipping qualities of my favourite sailing dinghy.

If it comes here it'll be in canting sleds next time. Whether they're 70 or 100 ft , who knows. mebee it'll be foiling monos by then.
