The defense has rested. The evidence has been presented and the witnesses heard. The closing arguments may begin as soon as tomorrow.

I think he's criminally responsible but I have no clue what that jury will do with it. May have a better notion after defense and prosecution summations.

Juries can do whatever they like, no questions asked. In this case being only six females, who were ever so carefully scrutinized before being chosen, the result may have nothing to do with any of the arguments.

I don't get the six-person jury template.

I though there always had to be twelve, as in, you know, " better to be judged by twelve than carried by six ".

Twelve is typical, but it is a state law issue.

Much easier to convince six then twelve. That's not good for Zimmerman. I think he's criminally responsible for the death but will be aquitted because of reasonable doubt.
