Bright spring day showers
Potting on Tiger Lilies
Dirt glory to come.

Unfortunate worms
Meeting robins for breakfast
Wish that they'd slept in.

Crocus and scilla
Beat me to last Autumn's leaves.
"When seasons collide."

Flooded garden joy.
Salted water soaked the plants,
But did not kill all.

Fargesia 'Boo.
Took a swim in 6 black pots,
Have no shoots so far.

Bright yellow flower
Jewel studded smooth green lawn
Damned dandelions

Not haiku, but I'll observe the dandelions not only survived the flood, they are flourishing!

Yep, it would take a nuke to kill them, possibly.:(

Flamethrower doesn't
Though lord knows I've tried enough.
Glyphosate perhaps?

I sit on the porch
and watch her plant tulip bulbs
that's just how I roll

I'm glad to find out
That Donn's taking chances with
Those saltwater joys.

Planting tulips now?
When did Oregon become
Antipodean?

Fuchsias in planters
swaddled in fleece for winter
need to be unwrapped.

Walking dog along shore,
Grey and drizzle, no gardening now
fuchsias have to wait.

four yards new dirt
hems in the boat
wife's subtle hint

Has Oregon become
Antipodean?

I didn't say I watched carefully.

Gladiolus has to many syllables, anyway.

Spring comes late up here–

Fling echinacea seeds,

Before the last snow.

Winter's grip released

Time marked and measured

Yet Fall harvest looms

Hail and rain showers
Everything dormant or hiding
Awaiting springs warmth.

Full moon on new snow
A lone raven in pine trees
White hairs in my beard.

Spring Haiku thread?
Raven laughs in that pine tree
Minus 24.

Spring Haiku Thread? As the world wobbles . . . . it is spring somewhere.

As the world wobbles . . . . it is spring somewhere.True indeed.

River flows from snow

Yeah, but I'm still in Minnesota. And starting Thursday, I'm singing in a play that's performed about 1/3 outside (link (http://hobt.org/performances/#lanatividad)).
