I'm looking for information on powerboats built by (I think) Boothbay Marine during the 1960s and possibly into the 70s. My family owned a 33' flybridge model, twin inboard, designed along the lines of a traditional lobsterboat. Any registry or info on the builders? Thanks.

The Boothbay 33 was built by Hodgon Brothers, I believe, in East Boothbay, Maine. I heard that from the owner of Riverside Marine (?) of Newcastle, Maine this past summer when he was working aboard one He added that about 200 were built to the design, which seemed like a high number to me, but I have no reason to gainsay him. There was one for sale for 'Best Offer' at Robinhood Marine in Georgetown, Maine earlier this year and another for sale near Chicago. Both were pretty much basket cases, though.
