View Full Version : Framing pretty much done

Got all the framing complete, except for scarphing on the end of the battens to lengthen them.

To complete the chine, I split it, worked it into place, and laminated 3/8" ply to the back of it once in place. I will laminate another piece of 3/8" ply after it is in it's final position. Everything it temporarily attached so I can finish all the fairing of the frame and bevelling of the keel, chine, and sheer.

Congratulations. Looks like you've got a good helper in the top picture.

Oh yeah. They are very helpful. They love to pick up all my little cut-offs and carry them out to the yard and chew on them. My yard looks like a boat exploded.
