Redd's Pond Boatworks will host the Galapagos Post Office, for those showgoers that need to leave messages. Look for a small keg with a sign on it.

In the early days of the 19th Century, the Pacific Whaling fleet used a barrel on the Galapagos Islands to leave messages to, and homeward bound mail, for pickup by other vessels.

This format seems to work in the crowds of the boatshow, just as it served in the desolation of the Pacific!. Just remember to inform the other (ships).

Thanks! to Thad Danielson

What a great idea, early settlers in Aus used to use hollow trees for the same thing.
Terrific for a boat show
