I've been in TN for a few years and I am looking for others who build/row/sail traditional boats down here in the southeast.

Hello Cypress. There are a few of us here in TN that are into Wooden Boats. What part of TN are you in? I'm in Chattanooga.
Follow that link above and you will see where we are planning a get together this summer. This will be the third annual get together of the SouthEast Boat Builders and Beer Drinkers.

Hi Chad,
I'm in Knoxville, actually just a little south of Knoxville. What types of boats do most people in the group have / use?

I'm in Murfreesboro, 45 miles se Nashville. But my rowing has mostly been in UK, Europe, and once- offshore Malta.

Don; The Concord Yacht Club(sailboats only) at 11600 Northshore Drive has a few woodies. We do weekend cruises to Ish creek, Tellico, etc. There is an old catboat in good shape available right now. Members have built prams, Chesapeake Light Craft kits, etc. If you have an interest in racing, show up at 1pm Sunday; there is always room for more crew.

Thanks Anthony, What's the story on the old catboat? I grew up in a Bigelow Kitten on Buzzards Bay in Massachusetts. There is nothing like a small wooden catboat for daysailing.
