Wondered if anyone knows anything about this builder. I have a boat (sloop) he built in 1957. Designer is Jan Linge. Would like info on him also. Trying to figure out if I can get copies of the plans.

If you really want to know more about Iversen you should go work on your scandinavian languages. Your best source would be one of the many classic motorboat associations in these countries. Please try the adresses I found for you.Scandanavian s are real nice people. Just send them a mail and I'm sure you will get everything they know. There is also a swedish book on Jac.M. Iversen.

To "fisherman": Thanks for the help, I will try the addresses you gave me. I have a friend who studied Norwegian last year, maybe she can help me translate a message. Thanks again, faymous.

FWIW, many (most?) Norwegians as well as Swedes, Finns and Danes actually speak, read and write English very well. You might need to translate a website but not too likely that you'll need to translate an e-mail.
