And apparently Charley is right behind her. A friend of mine said that they should have named #3 Clyde this year.
Well, I am not ready. I have two boats that are going to have to stay tied up in their slips no matter what. My trailerable boats should be o.k. unless we get a lot of tornados. We're hearing Category II, and that's not too bad. Wind isn't a problem. Water is the problem.
Just about every year we get at least one storm with 80 mph winds. Not really a big deal. A few trees down. Some signs crashing down. A couple of years ago we got a storm named Georges that hit with a whole lot of rain, came from just the right direction, and hit at high tide. The result was that we lost about 50% of the boats in my yacht club.
Well, we'll know more by Thursday night. Everybody keep their fingers crossed for us. Of course, if it doesn't hit here, it's just going to hit some other poor souls.
