Has anybody taken their wooden boat to this show?
Steadybrook, I am the chairman of the Festival and would be happy to answer any questions you may have, either here or by e-mail. What kind of boat are you thinking of displaying?

I would like to know what is involved in displaying a wooden boat for the first time?I have a 21' Classic Catboat. Is their a marine slipway or crane available for hire? What about moorings/tender service? Also need to know the dates for next year.
Thanks.
There is a large launch ramp if the boat is on a boat trailer. If it cannot be "self-launched" there are two places nearby with travellifts that could do the job. Alternatively, the boat can be displayed on it's trailer on the wharf. Dates for next year are July 29 to August 1. As details are finalized, you can find out more at our website www.woodenboatfestival.org. (http://www.woodenboatfestival.org.) You can also e-mail me directly.
There are moorings and tender service available, but apply early for a mooring because they go fast.
Hope to see you at next year's Festival!

Send me an e-mail (in my profile) with your name and mailing address and I'll make sure you get an application. They usually go out in April.
