The Sydney C & W B Festival is on this weekend 6 & 7 March at the National Maritime Museum.

Chris; glad some one will take pics and post. Was going to have a crack at it myself but the new dig camera got stolen last week (parked in city, smashed wagon window and grabbed camera box concealed under rear compartment blind; $1500 later!).

Jude and I will be going but not sure of day/time. If we can firm up will try for Hi !

PS: It's got some stiff(?) competition, same weekend as the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gra !!!

I'll have the camera there too. I'm going in Saturday morning - on a shopping spree in the stalls at the show if I can weazel some cash from under a rock.

Lion - I've still got your mobile # - I'll try your number around lunch on Sat. What chance a refreshing ale (or two) at the pub on the corner (can't remember its name).

We went last time (2002) when we had spare money!!!!!!!...stayed at the Darling Harbour Novatel and ate at all the good restaurants for the weekend!!! We don't think the Mardi Gras was a drawback being on the same weekend, only meant accom was hard to get if you wanted something good. Anyhow, I'm sorry we can't make it this year. We do hope one of you can manage to take some photos as we would love to see what's there this year. Anyhow, have a good time and a drink for us!!!!

The battery is on the charger - will 148 photos be enough or do you want more at lower resolution?

Just got home - wet for half the day. Just downloaded 170 Mb of photos - took about 120 in the end. Met up with Chris and Lion (who missed the beer).

Photos later - have to downsize some images. Will probably post a link to Imagestation.
