SF Bay area surveyor and/or boatwright

I am considering buying a fifty plus year old
Lyle Hess built boat and would like to find an experienced surveyor in the San Fran Bay area,
any suggestions?

For a good surveyor, try Peter Minkewitz. Don't have his number handy (the survey's on the boat), but he's in Oakland. If you can't find him, send me a note and I'll dig it up.
