      Thank you, Sir, and I hope you have a most enjoyable day yourself.

      First, a section of the stock is cut, mounted on the lathe, the end faced, and the barrel-to-be bored as deep as the drill allows...

                            We'll get to the boom presently. The optimum charge is being calibrated. By strictly empirical means.

                            Next, a hole has to be drilled through the barrel to accept the trunnions.
