This is all you have? If so, i think you should prepare for more gun restrictions.

Good question, although it is a stupid law

No, it's not a good question, and no, it isn't a stupid law.

No, it's not a good question, and no, it isn't a stupid law.

So its Ok for a liberal/socialist leaning reporter to break federal law?

Why isn't it a stupid law? Pushing for murder quotas?

I saw a clip of David Gregory smiling and doing a jig with Karl Rove once, doesn't sound "socialist" ( Gawd, how absurd you sound) to me.

Not a Federal law, local DC

Wow. The things people get wound up about amaze me. The guy has a freakin' prop for an interview with a complete nutcase. This is newsworthy?

Please go enjoy some time with your family....

If La Pierre had done that the usual suspects would have had a field day.

Attack the Media. That's always the go-to ploy when the right-fringe nutjobs look for ways to justify their extreme positions.

Deport Piers Morgan and throw David Gregory in jail. Yes siree, that will certainly make our country safer.

It might be instructive for Mr. Gregory to experience the penalties prescribed by DC law, for doing something he considers innocent.

Seems he sends his kids to a armed guard school as well. Interesting how things are isn't it?

The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed).

Doesn't matter if it's a prop; the law includes props (through the language which was probably meant to include dismantled magazines.) There are stories that the DC Police were called before the show to ask if it was legal, and they were told no. He thinks he's entitled to the Especially Stupid About Firearms Journalist special snowflake exemption ... and he'll probably get it, unlike Joe Random who doesn't know and who would lose his firearms rights forever for a conviction.
