They are built to work off of steep shingle beaches in the south east, West Kent and East Sussex. The lute stern enables them to run up onto the beach without being pooped by the surf.
I think that the one with the white bottom belongs to the author Robert Simper
The largest of them worked off of Hastings beach trawling& drifting for herring with a bigger yet class taking pleasure parties.
