My mom made a dish that was really simple. Elbows, stewed tomatoes, and cheddar cheese.

Over the years I've adopted it in a few ways. Sometimes I add a bit of ground beef or ground sausage. Sometimes I use cheddar and sometimes mozarella. Sometimes the taco blend. I might use egg noodles instead of elbows, and I might used crushed tomatoes instead of stewed tomatoes. Sometimes I opt for mushroom soup instead of the tomato. Sometimes I add a vegetable right in; green beans, chopped broccoli, etc.

Very versatile and easy to make "glop" that is one of the few things everyone eats no matter what combination of the above I use.

Elbows, stewed tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. So that's where JCSOH got it!

A super simple favorite here is beans and little meats:
brown some ground beef add a can of dark red kidney beans salt and pepper to taste - delicious. ( about 1 lb beef to 1 can beans)

Chopped turkey/chicken, bag of mixed veggies, some boiled leftover potatoes, make up some gravy, two quick crusts and a loaf pan: potpie for four.
