Norm works at the local highschool around here, pretty amazing that such a great wood worker would be so close. Aparently he teaches english, but gives a lot of advice in the shop.

Does anybody else seen his book and or seen any of his work.

Sure, Norm used to be a regular contributor to Fine Woodworking Magazine. I haven't seen an article by him in a while. He did one on making wooden moulding planes many years ago. He also wrote a Taunton Press book: Queen Anne Furniture back in 1990. I hope he is well. Rick

I am currently being taught by Norm, and he frequently talks about his furniture days with our class. Amazing guy, nice to see so many people talking well about his books.

Yep, built a few pieces of furniture from his book: handkerchief table and RI tea table. Rick

Yup - I've long lusted after his Shaker-style workbench shown in the Taunton Press's "The Workbench Book." And in fact, I've already gotten most of the wood and hardware accumulated for my next bench, which will be influenced to a large extent by his lovely bench.
