I have way too many cats. This one is worth posting again; reminds me of the bilge, some days.

I love cats of all sizes, except the hairless ones, they are weird to pet. A friend of mine found out panthers are quite soft, he walked into the cage from which the personel could feed the kitties, and petted one through the bars. The guy opening it was not amused.

Kinda unusual for a cat, eh? Let me guess.. it really like it when you went fishing? ;-)

The only problem I have is with leaving. If I'm planning to leave before 5pm or so, I need to catch her in the early am & put her in the truck to sleep - otherwise, she wanders off in the woods to sleep & doesn't come back till the late afternoon/evening. I've watched her sit there licking her paws while a fox went crazy yipping at her.. but not come close. Foxes apparently aren't stupid.

he traveled cross country with me and thought of the truck as home... where ever it was. he used to bring 'friends' to the camp fire to play... he never learned to kill small animals but the chip monks were not aware of that and would bite the heck out of him

Three cats in my house. Love two of them, find the other one totally useless, but my wife says I can't throw it in the woods for the coyotes...
