One of my favorite places to sail is Huntington Lake, located about an hour and a half NE of Fresno at 7000' on the Western slope of the Sierra's. A steady 8-10Kts comes up at 1000 and leaves at 1800, every day. Highly recomended for you traveling trailor sailors.

Discliamer: This album shows the edges of a plastic rent a wreck which was all that was available at the time and some viewers may find this offensive. Please look beyond the plastic.

Thanks Mate, I enjoyed the shots. Post more shots.

Our lakes in the mountains, look very similar, to Huntington Lake. They no longer have any trees surrounding them, as the trees were destroyed in January's fire storms.

Warren.

ps, Looking at your shots, was like time travel.

Great Photos,and remember

A quote from your "Old Uncle Tom"

"Tis better to have sailed in a plastic boat,
then never to have sailed at all."

Sorry, those are the only shots I had of the lake. The others were under the trees in the campground while the mate was relaxing and were a bit dark. Hopefully more this summer, work is interfering with the rework of ECHO.
