Sounds great Dave!... Bit far for me Im afraid but then maybe you can convince Mike of Custom Skiffs to get along?... Wouldnt do him any harm to get to this showing... If memory serves me right he has one hes either just doing up or has just done up... not sure which but hes definantly got one!

The Simmons Sea Skiff is one of my all time favorites of this type... Old man Simmons was definantly a fair artisan no doubts about that

The first two sets of plans for the 18 that we shipped in 2000 went to Queensland and Victoria. By September we had photos of both boats in the water with happy owners.

So those guys on the East coast Dave... any chance of contacts? photos?

Takes a special sort of person to go to the trouble you have to keep something like Simmons skiff design alive... keep up the great work mate!

Tell me are you doing the lines etc of any other designs at present??

Take it easy

Mike, it is o.k. to post the PR photos.

Shane, I'll dig up addresses and photos. I am not doing anything right now,as I am getting so old (81) I have trouble staying even, but the Sea-Skiffs were my first venture into naval architecture and the project has been the biggest satisfaction of my retirement years.
