Evening all,

Anyone got a supplier for Spartan bronze portlights in the NE area?

Specifically looking for a price for P585 which is an opening bronze portlight (blue water) with 13.5"x6.5" glass, plain bronze finish.

www.spartanmarine.com

Go to the catalog, then choose Ports. P585 is listed there. There's also a link to their 2012 price list which shows the current prices (US dollar) as $475 + $32 for the screen.

They are located @ Robin Hood Marine in Georgetown, ME.

You might check out New Found Metals. Made overseas but distributed out of Port Townsend. I installed two last spring. Seem to be nicely made.

Not exactly the OPs dimensions but a pretty good price if you win the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NFM-Marine-Boat-Port-Window-14X4-Bronze-Standard-Item-414B-New-Found-Metals-/180981887043?hash=item2a235c7043&item=180981887043&pt=Boat_Parts_Accessories_Gear&vxp=mtr

Note that NFM ports don't have a cast bronze spigot, cast as part of the port. They have a formed sheet metal spigot that's inserted into a groove in the inside casting and sealed/glued with epoxy.
That's the major reason for the lower price, and adds a potential leak point.

I got Spartan Marine portlights several years ago and they are doing great. I ordered a set of 10 matching opening and non/opening direct from the company and they arrived at my door a couple of weeks later.
