There's a Malabar Jr. for sale in the recent issue of Woodenboat. It's located on Maine. Is anyone familiar with this little ship? It's cheap at under 20k. Is this really all their worth? At this price, I'm think I would be better off just buying one that's in good condition rather than restoring it myself.

Pat, there is seldom a correlation between the asking price and the final selling price. The condition could be anywhere from sail-away (doubtful) to bring on the marshmellows.
