Hi,

I'm art director on an independant film and looking to buy a Folkboat as a prop. Doesn't have to be
seaworthy - it will never be seen in the water. Can be in somewhat rough condition. We're in California.

Thanks,

Gary

I don't know where you are located, but if you take out an ad on Craig'slist around San Francisco you will most likely get some response.

Still need one? I have one that looks good from 50 feet away. $800

Looks about like this one:

You might want to contact the folkboat fleet locally. There are several who could be used as long as not damaged. moreover, they are often in great locations.

Other boat that might work as well might be the Bear boat which is similar but a proper San Francisco yacht.

I have a 25 foot lapstrake sailboat on a trailer in California

It is seaworthy though...

Did you find your Folkboat? I have one in the water, and know of another also available.
