So you're saying that Dutch is not Paul Gartside and Art Reinhart is not Ian Oughtred???

At least I know Ledger is for real. . .

I build things. I can think too. I do neither with any unusual skill. Almost everybody who posts here builds things on occasion, some with very admirable talent, and almost everybody can think, some better than others.

What, we ain't up to your exacting standards? Awwww. May I point out that reading any of it is entirely voluntary.

Well... I, for one, appreciate the clarification. I know I post here in the Bilge regularly. I know I'm a boatbuilder. But, apparently, I"m not a REAL boatbuilder. Truthfully, I had wondered. Commissions for new boats are seldom things these days... so I wasn't quite sure. Now I know.

Although - I do still do a fair bit of boat repair, and the building of boaty bits. I have a 60's vintage runabout in the shop now awaiting some attention. So... maybe, just maybe I'm a real... but, no! Emma has spoken.

And since I'm not quite sure what Emma means by a real thinker... I'll just have to accept, as part and parcel of the above state of affairs, that I'm not a REAL thinker either.

Posting here is also entirely so; Mr Wessel seems to find the time for both, from time to time.

I thought Emma was talking about house builders. Remember this forum used to be called misc.Non boat related.
There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.

Reading some of your political posts over the past 3 months or so , I'm thinking Emma has it right on the thinking part! YMMV!! LOL

Well, if you want builders, go to the Building/Repair part of the forum.
