Ahoy Mates,
I am getting my tools, bed sheets and towels together for my two week stay a Wooden Boat School, leaving on Sunday August 19 . I will be taking the ferry from Orient Point L.I. to New London Ct. and then onto Brooklin Me. We will be building Matinicus Double ender designed by Walter Simmons, the instructor will be Geoff Burke. I am hoping that i will come home with enough knowledge to start building her, this will be my first boatbuilding project. I will post photos and some video of the class wish me luck.
Cheers, Walter

A friend did the class a few years ago that built a Culler wherry and came home with it: http://forum.woodenboat.com/showthread.php?102710-Culler-wherry

It was beautifully well done and is his pride and joy. Good luck to you and your classmates.
