My brother is building an electric 20-footer in Lawton. I'll be going back in a few weeks to wire it up for him.

Hi Bill! Good to hear you made your 'final' decision. Wish I could! BTW, ran into another fellow who bought the Princess plans, 3 blocks away! Small world.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Have a great day,

Bill, I'm building a Penobscot 14 in a shrinking garage in Howell, and there's a guy about a block away building a 12' stitch & glue something or other. Plenty of activity!

Railmeat,

I'd like to see some photos on your Penobscot 14, or stop by one day. It's a design that I've been looking at for awhile, but haven't seen many completed to make a sound judgement.

I have been looking at the penobscot boats for a while. I almost ordered the plans for the 17 footer. until i saw the trailer sailer 24.

Well, "sound judgement" is not something I am normally associated with myself, but that 's another matter. I have digital photos of the boat, but I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to post them. I know the process has been covered in this forum several times, so it's just a matter of me sitting down to do it.

I am really just in the early stages of the construction. I recently finished hanging all of the longitudinal stringers, so at least I can see a boat taking shape finally (and so can the curious passers-by, who are surprisingly numerous).

My number: (517) 552-7230.

Talk to you guys later,

Don
