The average number of babies per woman in the present world is 2.4, and it is going down regardless of the religion of the area.
Anyone who says that birth control is not being used in the present world is nuts,
whether or not you believe that birth control is essential for the survival of the world as we know it.

(Nonetheless we have many politicians in the USA who seem to decry birth control, and who want to de-fund Planned Parenthood...
the primary source of information about birth control among poorer women in the USA.)
